Arko Suncare

A sun-care identity built to be recognized at three metres and gripped with one wet hand.

Arko is a brand of Evyap, which states production in Türkiye, Egypt and Malaysia and export to more than 100 countries on evyap.com.tr, captured 2026-09-07. Brief, approach and outcome from tasarist.net. Third-party revenue estimates for Evyap exist but are not company-published, and are not used here.

The brief

Arko Suncare tasked us with creating a strong and distinctive visual identity system, to enhance its differentiation in a competitive market.

The client’s brief, as recorded by the studio on tasarist.net (captured 2026-09-07).

Sun care is chosen fast, then used badly.

Arko Suncare asked for a visual identity strong enough to separate it in a crowded category — one where nearly every brand reaches for the same beach cues and ends up looking like the same bottle in a different order.

The system leads with a set of distinctive icons and puts orange at the centre of the palette for energy and warmth, with typography chosen to sit naturally in the category rather than argue with it. Cap colours are drawn as a complementary set, so the range sorts itself on shelf and stays one family.

Then the part most sun-care packs ignore: the bottle is ergonomic on purpose. The side icons are raised, so they do the work of a grip texture when hands are oily with lotion or covered in sand — the exact condition the product guarantees. The identity carries from the shelf into every other piece of communication.
